What is a wrestler?

  Authors note: Wrestling is one of my favorite sports and it tells you what I have and a lot of wrestlers have to do this story inspired me to like wrestling more and I hope this essay will want you to join the sport or for the wrestlers reading this good luck to you. 

I think you wrestle with a goal not just to wrestle. Many wrestlers make goals and some do it others don’t. They don’t because they didn’t work hard enough for it. People make goals like in the story the wrestler wants to beat this kid in state that bet him last year. It’s hard for him he need to cut down in weight and barley eat it sucks trust me I have had to do it before. In the story he runs into problems in life and deals with them like he should.
  There are naturals and there are slum makers slum maker might try to get good but just cant and they do all this stuff and try to get into it as much as they can but it’s still not helping.  The naturals are good but they do get beat sometimes but that’s ok everybody loses some time in wrestling. Wrestlers have to work out hard every day during the week and even some times weekend so 7 days a week for 4-5-6-7-8-9 and some don’t stop wrestling.  It takes courage to wrestle some wrestlers have some much courage like this one I'm about to talk about.
  Anthony Robles my favorite wrestler and one of the wrestlers with the most courage I think of all. He was born with one leg doctors to this day don’t know why but when he was in 9th grade he joined wrestling. H e was only 90 pounds and was getting owned but to go out on that mat people laughing at him and his one leg real scrawny little boy and still goes out their now if I'm not mistaking I think that is courage. He started getting good at wrestling his jr. year of high school the parents till thought he was at a disadvantage with one leg then the parents started saying oh no he has an advantage now with how low he can get and all that upper body strength.
  But in wrestling you can’t have just strength in wrestling you need technique also because as my father says technique beats muscle 90% of the time. I saw that was true later in my wrestling season big boy same weight 185 pounds can bench 200 pounds looks like a man I go out their start getting owned pulled some moves on him and beat him pin him now don’t get me wrong I'm pretty strong but he was stronger. It takes hart also found that out this wrestling season too kid was owning me and 11 second score 17 to 7 I reverse when he was on top of me and get him to his back it was unsaying. You can tell I got better in the season to because I can beat people now that beat me earlier in the season. Wrestling is life changing and it’s so amazing what you can do, and learn in a year.
 
 My wrestling season I finished like 28 and 5 so it was my beast year and next year I'm going to try to get better. I want to go to this good camp for wrestling but my dad won’t let because I need A's and B's and C`s but I'm trying. The camp instructor is actually my old coach and 2 times NCAA champs too and the other one that owns the academy is the welterweight champion in Bellator Mixed Martial Arts (M.M.A) Ben Askren. Guess what he was actually the NCAA 2 time champ for wrestling too. In my mind a wrestler is a good person strong and has respect for everyone what is a wrestler in your mind?
  The World Wrestling Entertainment (W.W.E) is fake I hate that stuff it`s people that retired from the M.M.A or from real wrestling or their guys that are just actors that are stupid. Wrestling is a great sport and makes good people the coaches are tough but that’s good you want a good, tough, coach that knows what he is doing it will only makes you better. You have to try hard in order to be good and never except loosing because if you except loosing you will never win.  Never give up though my aunt was almost gone to the Olympics for wrestling but then she got hurt my uncle was a wrestler to he was okay but nothing big.
  Like in the story the coaches were tough on the wrestlers and it helped them in the end. Warm up music is good too to get you pumped up and motivated so when you go out there you just tear it up and beat and pin the wrestler you’re facing. Off season work out play football, baseball, jiujitsu, karate, boxing, M.M.A, soccer and other sports and or you just wrestle year round. Personally I play baseball, jiujitsu, and football and those all help with wrestling. Thank you for reading my easy and good luck.
